People love to ask “why are you acting funny?!?!?”
It is written in Romans 13:7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. With that being said, why do I owe you the old me, when you keep showing me the new you? It is also written in Matthew 7:12 do to others, the great golden rule…right? With that being said, you clearly were “acting funny” first and probably more often. Here’s the point when you treat others disrespectfully, do you deserve respect or distance? When you violate the space of others, do you deserve privacy or distance? When you lie on others or gossip about their truth, should they be bound to keeping your secrets or distance themselves? When you cheat on your lover, will you have them cheat on you or distance themselves? We all want to speak what is right, but are we willing to do it? If you know that you have done something even a little offensive, they aren’t acting funny, they are acting according to how they are treated. If you were truly loved, you will get the distance and not what you are owed.
